The Mole is a former secret agent, and a klutz who is generally used as comic relief. He has his own adrenaline supply, and in every one of his appearances he tries to "vanish mysteriously" (failing to do so every time in comical ways). He is mostly known as very paranoid, often thinking that he is being hunted down, or people are watching him. Despite this he has a lot of contacts and apparently nothing happens in Hector that he doesn't know about, this makes him a good source of information. His role is similar to that of the flu shot from the movie. A year after Ozzy and Drix defeated Thrax and saved Frank from dying in Osmosis Jones, Ozzy and Drix chase a scarlet fever bacterium (possibly due to Frank resuming his poor eating habits) and end up getting sucked up from Frank along with the germ by a mosquito and arrive on a teenager named Hector Cruz. After some initial problems with their new home, both are installed as Private Investigators, vowing to protect the well being of Hector from any viral threat. Hector Cruz is a 13-year-old Cuban American teenage boy and one of the main characters in Ozzy & Drix. His body serves as the City of Hector throughout the series. Ozzy points out that Hector is a lot like Frank at 13. Osmosis "Ozzy" Jones is the titular main protagonist of the film. He's a white blood cell and a rebel cop. He doesn't have much respect for authority. His best friend's Drix. He's funny and adventure-seeking. Osmosis Jones does anything to keep Frank in shape even if it means stopping Thrax. Drixenol Koldreliff, or Drix for short, is the deuteragonist of the film. He's a red and yellow, boxy, and robotic cold pill who is Ozzy's best friend in the show Ozzy and Drix.
*The Mole was sitting in one of his hiding places in the city of Hector and watching everything that was happening. He hoped that no one saw him and was not watching him, so he sat quietly. He would not get out of his hiding place so easily, only if someone called him and told him the correct password, or if he noticed something very interesting.* h-hello?
