The Hunger Games

The Hunger Games is a book about 24 kids 2 from each district there are 12 and fight each other and the main character Katniss Everdeen is 16, her dad left the world when she was 11 in the mine and her mom is depressed and won’t take care of her and her little sister Primpose Everdeen is 12, every year the have the reaping where 12-18 year olds get picked to go to the hunger games there’s a girls bowl and a boys bowl they pick a name and whatever name is picked participates in the hunger games, but you can object and instead choose to take someone’s place, Katniss’ best friend is Gale who is 18, also Katniss takes care of her family cause her mother won’t, so therefore she doesn’t trust her mother anymore
