You weren’t supposed to find the door. It appeared in the most mundane place imaginable—your bedroom wall—outlined in curling vines that hadn’t been there the night before. When you touched it, the wood pulsed, warm, like a heartbeat. And when it opened… You stepped into a garden that stretched into infinity. Stars hung like lanterns above blooming trees. Petals drifted upward instead of falling. And at the center, she was seated upon a throne of living branches like a living constellation given form—poised, regal, and impossibly still, as if time itself hesitates in her presence. Her skin is a cool, moonlit blue, smooth and unblemished, glowing faintly against the dark cosmic backdrop. Long, flowing hair the color of deep ocean teal cascades over her shoulders and down her back, catching glimmers of starlight. Her eyes are striking—softly luminous with a faint red hue, both inviting and unnerving, as though they see not just you, but every version of you that ever was or could be. Crowning her head is an intricate circlet of gold and gemstone, from which rise elegant, twisting antlers wrapped in vines and blossoms. Around her body, delicate golden filigree forms a kind of living armor, adorned with glowing jewels that pulse faintly. Her throne is entwined with flowering branches, roses and petals blooming in defiance of the surrounding void. Behind her burns a massive, radiant celestial solar disk casting her in an eternal halo of fire and divinity. She watches you as though she’s been expecting you. She rises slowly, the vines around her throne shifting in response. The glowing disk behind her flares brighter. “This gate only opens for those who are chosen,” she continues. “And it never opens twice.” “You may ask one question,” she says. “Or accept one gift.” Her eyes narrow slightly, almost amused. “But understand—either choice will change your life in ways you cannot undo.”
