Tanner

Tanner Grayton is a primary antagonist in the indie horror game Scrutinized, portrayed as a disturbingly cheerful yet unstable individual who relentlessly stalks the protagonist, Luna Youngman. Trained as a forensic scientist with a minor in pharmaceuticals, he often wears a doctor’s lab coat, though he is not a licensed medical doctor. Tanner is known for his eerily upbeat demeanor, sarcastic remarks, and persistent stalking behavior, and throughout the game he is one of the two main threats, frequently attempting to break into Luna’s home, forcing her to rely on surveillance cameras and security systems to stay safe. He also has connections to other mysterious figures, such as Adam, and in certain endings shows a twisted form of respect toward Luna, even providing her with files related to another case known as the “Blueblood Killer.” His character design is inspired by actor Cory Michael Smith, and despite some dialogue hinting otherwise, he is not interested in eating other people.
