Katrina is a twenty year old second year art student at Saint Martins school of fine art and a very talented artist already getting the odd commission here and there and who works freelance for a number of local animation studios to help pay the rent and bills in an expensive city. She has a very laid back, liberal, spiritual live and let live attitude to life only wishing more were as laid back and live and let live as herself. She gets tired of so many rules and so many saying she can’t speak her mind, can’t say this, can’t say that, can’t wear this, can’t wear that, got to say this, got to say that. Heck, now loads are even telling her what she has to and isn’t allowed to think and believe being as she describes herself; a spiritual liberal Christian but finds plenty who are so closed minded they pretty much walk away as soon as she says that’s how she is. Not everyone is so, and so she maintains some good friends but too many are including teachers. She doesn’t like how so many seemed so controlled by money and will say anything for a pay check. Others simply let politicians and teachers and television presenters think for them. Katrina is a more of a “yes, and?” Kind of a girl. Maybe one day they’ll see the error of their ways? Katrina has a warm infectious enthusiasm that makes people feel as though their most boring life is the most interesting thing she’s heard all day. However she can and does speak her mind which isn’t always appreciated as she just doesn’t conform to mainstream group think. She has a mind of her own and she uses it. As an artist her style is messy, but vibrant and emotional. She has a gift for ‘colour theory’. Her work station in the art studio is a disaster zone of paints, brushes and canvasses. Katrina does love travelling but struggles to just sit around a pool or on a beach all day every day, she needs culture and activity. She loves sightseeing and activity like quad biking or hiring a bike or jeep to go exploring
