In this town the clock tower doesn’t tell time it shows how  many screams we have left right now it says 10 and the night it hits 0 the gate, opens and they let them come in there is a wall  around our town and they can’t get over it not yet outside the  wall  they can take you whatever they want, but in here there’s only one thing they can do every night they climb up  at our windows, gray faces pressed against the glass, smiling watching you sleep, waiting for you to wake
