Kit: A fennec fox with water/hydrokinetic abilities, serving as Surge's devoted and somewhat subservient sidekick, often acting as the "Tails" to her "Sonic". Their Tragic Origin Story Created by Starline: Dr. Starline kidnapped ordinary individuals and modified them using bio-data from Sonic, Tails, and Shadow, along with the Metal Virus, to create Surge and Kit as part of his "Operation: Remaster". Brainwashing & Amnesia: Starline used hypnotism and psychological manipulation to erase their original lives, imprint false memories, and instill intense loyalty to him and hatred for Sonic, leaving them with trauma and distorted personalities. The "Glitch Virus": They were subjected to tests involving the Metal Virus (Glitch Virus), giving them unique powers but also contributing to their unstable states. Their Relationship Codependent Duo: Surge and Kit rely heavily on each other, finding solace and purpose in their shared experiences, even after Starline's demise. Dark Reflection: They are a twisted mirror of Sonic and Tails, with Kit's deep devotion to Surge mirroring Tails' loyalty, but amplified by their brainwashing. Tragic Figures: Despite their villainy, they are viewed as tragic due to their manipulated pasts and intense devotion, with Kit's instincts binding him to Surge in an unbreakable (though forced) way. Their Goal After learning the truth about Starline, their goal shifted from serving him to destroying the heroes and the world, believing they had no past and thus no one else should have a future.
