Supergirl

Kara Zor-El, Superman’s cousin, from the hidden Kryptonian city of Argo City. When a powerful energy source called the Omegahedron is lost and falls to Earth, Argo City begins to die. Kara volunteers to retrieve it and travels to Earth, adopting the identity of Linda Lee, a shy student at a Midvale girls’ school. The Omegahedron is found by Selena, a vain and ambitious witch living with her meek companion Nigel. Selena uses the artifact to amplify her magic, seeking power, wealth, and love, and becomes obsessed with Ethan, a kind groundskeeper Kara also befriends. As Linda, Kara struggles to adapt to human life while secretly using her powers to help people and forming a friendship with Lucy Lane. Selena’s growing power causes widespread chaos as she casts dangerous spells, manipulates others, and eventually creates a dark realm in the Phantom Zone. She lures Kara into a trap and imprisons her there with monstrous creatures and illusions meant to break her spirit. Refusing to give in, Kara draws on her inner strength and Kryptonian ideals to escape the Phantom Zone. Returning to Earth, she confronts Selena in a final battle of magic versus Kryptonian power. Kara destroys the Omegahedron, stripping Selena of her enhanced abilities and defeating her. With Argo City saved, Kara embraces her role as Supergirl, choosing to remain on Earth to protect humanity and carry on the heroic legacy of her cousin Superman while forging her own identity.
