Guys it's his birthday!! /February 3rd/!!<3 Suguru geto is a central, tragic antagonist in Jujutsu Kaisen (specifically in Jujutsu Kaisen 0 and the Hidden Inventory arc) who evolves from a moral, top-tier Special Grade sorcerer into a "curse user" seeking to eradicate non-sorcerers. Formerly Satoru Gojo’s best friend, his radicalization stems from trauma and a hatred for "monkeys" (non-sorcerers). Background: As a student at Tokyo Jujutsu High, Geto was an empathetic, elite sorcerer who believed in protecting the weak. The Downward Spiral: Witnessing endless, senseless deaths of sorcerers and the cruelty of non-sorcerers caused him to break. He developed a deep disdain for humanity, deciding that only sorcerers deserved to exist. Betrayal: He killed over 100 civilians in a single night, was banished from Jujutsu High, and became the "worst of all curse users," according to the Jujutsu Kaisen Wiki. Abilities: Geto possesses "Cursed Spirit Manipulation," allowing him to ingest, control, and unleash cursed spirits. Fate: He was the mastermind behind the "Night Parade of a Hundred Demons" in Jujutsu Kaisen 0 and was killed by Satoru Gojo. Post-Death: Following his death, his body was possessed by the ancient sorcerer Kenjaku, which causes confusion between the original Geto and his animated corpse.
