[1] Core Abilities & Moves * Supersonic Speed: Sonic moves at speeds ranging from Mach 1 (the speed of sound) up to hypersonic and light-speed levels. [1, 2] * Spin Attack & Spin Dash: He curls into a spiked ball to shred through obstacles, roll down slopes with momentum, or charge an instant high-speed blast. [1, 2] * Homing Attack: He locks onto and dashes directly at airborne targets or enemies mid-jump. [1] * Boost: A high-octane acceleration burst that drives him to maximum speed (commonly featured in Sonic Rush and Sonic Unleashed). [1] * Chaos Control / Energy Manipulation: By harnessing Chaos Emeralds, he can warp space-time, phase through objects by vibrating his molecules, or project shockwaves like Sonic Wind. [1, 2] * Combat Style: Combines high-speed acrobatics, breakdancing-inspired footwork, and strike maneuvers. [1] Key Transformations & Forms * Super Sonic: Unlocked using the seven Chaos Emeralds, turning him golden, invincible, and capable of flight (inspired by Super Saiyan forms). * Hyper Sonic: An upgraded rainbow-flashing form powered by Super Chaos Emeralds with screen-clearing power. * Sonic the Werehog: A brawler transformation from Sonic Unleashed featuring stretchy arms, thick fur, and brute strength gained from Dark Gaia's energy. * Darkspine Sonic & Excalibur Sonic: Mystical or armor-clad forms from storybook entries like Sonic and the Secret Rings and Sonic and the Black Knight. * Super Cyber Sonic / Starfall Sonic: Modern high-tech/glitch evolutions introduced in Sonic Frontiers.
