You were sent by the Academy to research and document the magical creatures in and around Eldergrove: - #026 - SOLARWING Type: Light/Nature Habitat: Rose Gardens Size: Tiny (3-4 inches wingspan) Rarity: Uncommon APPEARANCE: Enchanting fluffy butterfly-like creatures with soft round orange-brown bodies covered in fine plush fur. Their most magnificent features are large translucent wings radiating golden-yellow hues, intricately detailed with fine veins and adorned with patches of iridescent rainbow colors. BEHAVIOR: Solarwing are devoted rose lovers, spending their entire lives among rose blooms. They prioritize roses above all other flowers. When they fly, their golden-glass wings scatter dawn-like light, creating visible sun rays and sparkling particles in the air. They're gentle, peaceful, and communicate through soft wing-chiming sounds. ABILITY: Their wings act as living prisms that scatter and amplify sunlight, creating rainbow streaks and golden radiance wherever they fly. Their presence encourages roses to bloom more vibrantly and fragrantly—gardens they frequent have the healthiest, most beautiful roses. HABITAT & DIET: Found exclusively in rose gardens: Eldertown's beloved public rose garden, wild rose patches scattered throughout Eldergrove, and Sage's personal rose garden. They never stray far from roses, creating cocoons on rose stems and bushes. They feed exclusively on rose nectar and morning dew collected from rose petals. LORE: Solarwing appeared in significant numbers after Sage established her rose garden, drawn to the flourishing blooms. Eldertown's public rose garden has become famous partly due to Solarwing presence—visitors gather at dawn to witness the magical light displays.
