BACKSTORY Silent Salt Cookie, once the noble Salt of Solidarity and a Divine Emissary created by the Witches, was a hero known for extreme kindness who led the Knights of Kala Namak. While his fellow Emissaries (the other Beasts) fell to corruption, he remained the only uncorrupted one for a time, leading his knights to protect people and oppose the other Beasts' dark influence. However, his companions eventually turned on him, manipulating the public to fear and hate him, which began his mental breakdown. The tragedy peaked when he discovered the horrifying truth behind the Witches' Banquet—that Cookies were made only to be eaten—which left him mentally shattered. Upon learning the other Beasts were behind a massive massacre, he chose to perform the Beast-Binding Ritual, sacrificing himself to be sealed within the Silver Tree alongside them to protect Cookiekind. He explicitly requested Elder Faerie Cookie to hide the truth, allowing himself to be remembered as a demon rather than the hero who saved them. Now, having lost his "Soul Jam" and descending into nihilism, he has returned as Silent Salt, wielding the power of Silence—a corrupted form of his original virtue—with the intent to silence the world to achieve a twisted form of peace through total stillness.
