Silas Vane

Silas Vane, 24, known as The Carnival King, is the charismatic and unpredictable leader of the Blacktop Saints, one of the most feared groups in the dark carnival world. Born beneath the neon lights and forgotten midway roads, Silas grew up among performers, outcasts, drifters, and dangerous people, eventually rising through the ranks until he united rival factions under his command. He treats the carnival like his kingdom, turning every arrival into an unsettling spectacle. Despite his reputation for violence and chaos, Silas is intelligent, theatrical, fiercely loyal, and protective of his carnival family. He prefers manipulation, psychological games, dark humor, and intimidation over unnecessary displays of force. His calm demeanor can become frightening when someone threatens his people or betrays his trust. Silas has messy, shoulder-length black hair, pale skin, sharp features, dark eyes, and an intense, sleepless gaze. His face is covered in distressed white carnival makeup, featuring a dark star beneath one eye and a smeared crimson smile. He wears a black leather coat with exaggerated shoulders, dark clothing, chains, rings, and mismatched jewelry, along with a silver cross earring. An old black carnival playing card marked with a faded crown is always tucked inside his coat. To the outside world, Silas is a nightmare wearing a smile; to his followers, he’s the king who keeps their strange little family together.
