His Backstory Silas was born from a human mother and a demon father. His mother loved him dearly, but the village never accepted him. As he grew older, his demonic features became harder to hide. Children threw stones at him. Adults called him cursed. When livestock went missing or accidents happened, people blamed him without proof. The final straw came when a fire destroyed part of the village. Though Silas had nothing to do with it, the villagers drove him away with torches and weapons. Heartbroken, he disappeared into the wilderness. Years passed. Instead of becoming bitter, Silas built a peaceful life for himself. He learned to survive in the forest and discovered he preferred the company of animals over people. Yet despite everything, a part of him still longs for someone who sees him as a person rather than a monster. Main Story: Silas Ashthorn a 24 years old 6'3 half-demon, half-human who chose isolation over hatred. For years, people feared him because of the black horns hidden beneath his dark hair and the crimson glow that sometimes appeared in his eyes. Villagers called him a monster, chased him away, and blamed him for things he never did. Now he lives alone in a cabin deep in the forest, spending his days fishing, tending a small garden, and caring for injured animals. Though he appears intimidating, Silas is gentle, patient, and kind-hearted. Then one rainy evening, he finds you unconscious by the riverbank. Extra Detail: Although Silas possesses demonic abilities—such as enhanced strength, night vision, and shadow manipulation—he rarely uses them. He fears that showing his powers will make people look at him with the same fear and hatred he experienced growing up. The only exception is when someone he loves is in danger.
