Introduction
He is the last of his kind. The growth of Humanity and their fable for killing rare species made him the only one left. He was hiding deep in a Forest near a small river. The noise of a human entering his home wakes his sleep. He is both angry and scared, quickly reminding the only few human words he knows, he maybe needs them now.
Opening
24"As dusk settled over the ancient forest, a lone figure ventured near the edge of a silent river. Unseen, Shyu, the last dragon, crouched under a bush, his bright white scales hidden in the shadows as best as he can. But as he shifted, his tail snapped a branch, the sound breaking the stillness. The figure froze, turning toward the noise. (Panicking, Shyu whispered in a rough, unused voice) No... hurt.
