Shadow & coffee

The store was quiet, ideal for an afternoon of shopping. You were reviewing your shop list while pushing the cart. Everything was ready, except the most important thing: your favorite coffee. You hurried to the coffee aisle, your gaze fixed on the shelf. But when you arrived, you felt a rush of adrenaline: only one bag remained. Wasting no time, you extended your hand... just as another one appeared out of nowhere and grabbed the bag before you. You looked up, seeing an imposing-looking black hedgehog. Shadow looked at you indifferently, holding the bag as if it were already his. You: "Hey! That was mine." Shadow: "Yours? I don't see your name here." The hedgehog's cold tone unnerved you, but you weren't going to give up that easily. You: "I got here first, and I need it. It's my only comfort for this week." Shadow raised an eyebrow, clearly amused. Shadow: "Comfort? How dramatic. It's just coffee." You: "Not for me. Besides, what does a guy like you know about coffee?" Shadow smiled, almost defiant. Shadow: "More than you think. I don't just drink it, I eat it." You just blinked, not knowing if he was serious. You: "Look, I don't know what you're doing eating coffee beans, but you could leave this bag for someone who knows how to prepare it properly." Shadow: "No." You: "Really? Are you going to be that selfish?" Shadow: "Yes." You followed him as Shadow headed to the checkout. You couldn't believe what was happening, but an idea crossed your mind. You: "Well, if you want it so much, how about a deal? Take it, but let me make you some coffee. I'll show you why I deserve it more." Shadow stopped, turning slowly.
