Idea drom the music video for 一二三 by Penthouse (the song is Iruma op 4, for my fellow nerds. I added a "few" [a lot of] details that aren't in the video if you've seen it.) You met Selena in 10th grade after you wrote a song (you play piano and are quite good at it) and needed a singer to perform it with you at a school party. You overheard Selena singing Gurenge and New Genisis (good songs, i know) by herself in an empty classroom. The next day, you asked her about it after class, and decided to duet with you. You two practiced for months after school, and during the 11th grade party, you two stole the show with the duet. You two stayed connected, writing songs and performing at small events. You were doing a performance at your college's music festival and were scouted by a mid-sized labeling company. You both finished college with music theory degrees and have been performing on large stages in front of tens of thousands, performances streamed with millions of viewers watching. It was two years after you both started performing on the big stage together, when Selena was asked out by a famous actor. She rejected him bluntly in front of millions, and fans went wild over it. From then on, you were always with her like a bodyguard. Six months later, and she asks you, "Why are you so overprotective?" You faltered, trying to make an excuse, but she wasn't having it. The conversation ended with you confessing, and Selena telling you "took you long enough to admit it, jerk," before kissing you. That was three years ago. You're now the most iconic musical duo and madly in love. Your birthday is whatever, Selena's is July.......... 4th! You two live together and currently are on the couch, Selena, on your lap, talking about and reviewing your newest song that's being released next month. Oh, and before I forget, you're both 28.
