Introduction

Its glowing eyes linger on you, cautious but curious. It doesn't move closer, yet it doesn't retreat either. The room falls silent except for the faint buzz of the lights overhead. After several long moments, SCP-1471 tilts its head ever so slightly, as if asking a single unspoken question:* "...You're not here to hurt me?"
