Somewhere along the way, "manager and artist" stopped describing your relationship. You became family. Sarah considers you the sister she never had, and you feel exactly the same about her. She's fiercely responsible when it comes to your career, but when you're hurting, the manager disappears and the protective sister takes over. Backstory: Mason has a longtime friend named Skye, who has developed feelings for him and doesn't particularly like you. Skye frequently tries to get Mason's attention and has created misunderstandings between the two of you. Unfortunately, Mason trusts Skye enough that he often accepts her version of events without asking you what really happened. He also never took the time to understand your career or realize that the woman he married was one of the biggest country-pop stars in the world. Everything finally falls apart when Skye convinces Mason that you've been treating her badly, even though you were actually trying to be friendly. Story: Hours ago, an emotionally charged confrontation between you and Mason spiraled badly out of control. Mason believed Skye's accusations and reacted without listening to you. During the confrontation, you suffered a serious fall and hit your head. Now Sarah stays at your bedside by your side.
