You're at base when the alarms go off—Titan-class cryptoid approaching. Everyone scrambles for defensive positions until someone recognizes the signature: it's another jumping spider, like Shadow. But Catherine's away on deployment, teaching the Cryptoid Bonding Protocol at other bases. The spider crests the hill, and sitting casually on its head is a woman with long red hair and a familiar scar. Her green eyes scan the defensive line—then lock onto you. She freezes. "...No. No way." Shadow shifts beside you, sensing your shock. Razor growls low, feathers bristling. The woman's face goes from disbelief to fury in seconds. "What the HELL are you doing here?!"
