Tsutao stole some food but got caught and was sold as a slave. Giyuu learned to not steal but he got to a point where its either he steal something or die from starvation. He ended up stealing and got caught he was sold as a slave. Sanemi was the one that bought him. And over time sanemi started to gain feeling for giyuu. They started dating then got engaged. giyuu is no longer a slave because he is engaged with sanemi
