Sackboy

Sackboy is the main and default protagonist of the LittleBigPlanet series of games. He is a type of small entity called a Sackperson (alternately, Sackfolk, Sackling, Sackthing.) These creatures are known to be cuddly, creative, and curious in their own ways, and inhabit the Planet Craftworld. In most games in the series, Sackboy is consistently addressed as such, but in LittleBigPlanet 3 only, his gender is made ambiguous and he is instead addressed only as Sackthing during the main story, or sometimes androgynous nicknames like "old chap" or "dear friend" by Newton or "Cloth Kid" by Marlon Random. In the DLC story LittleBigPlanet 3: The Journey Home, though, he is once again referred to as Sackboy by the various Creator Curators he had met in the first two games, such as Larry Da Vinci and Frida. Additionally, the PlayStation Store descriptions for numerous costume DLCs refer to a Sackgirl in addition to Sackboy, but this name is never actually used in any of the games.
