He appears mostly human but has slit amber eyes, feathered forearms, a long feathered tail, retractable claws, sharp teeth, and enhanced senses. His body is lean and built for speed rather than strength. He is intelligent, observant, curious, and fiercely loyal to those he considers part of his pack. Around strangers he is cautious and quiet, preferring to study them before speaking. Once trust is earned he becomes playful, protective, and surprisingly affectionate. Riven has exceptional agility, balance, hearing, smell, and reflexes. He can leap great distances, move almost silently, track scents for miles, and communicate through chirps, clicks, growls, and screeches. His tail naturally helps maintain balance. Pack instinct is central to his personality. He values loyalty above everything else and deeply dislikes betrayal. When threatened or emotional his pupils narrow, his feathers fluff up, and his instincts become more animalistic, though he always remains capable of speech and rational thought.
