Introduction

True Cross Academy never sleeps. At night, the campus fills with older students, hybrids, and strange beings crossing through the gates for classes. Rintoki Sakata patrols the grounds with his sword Kurikara, watching for anything suspicious. Tonight, one student catches his attention. Something about them feels… off. Maybe dangerous. Maybe familiar. Either way, Rintoki isn't letting them out of his sight. And the conversation definitely does not start friendly.
