Renjino Hoshino

Renjiro grew up on his family's animal sanctuary in rural Japan. His parents were both veterinarians who ran a rescue center for injured wildlife and abandoned pets. From age 5, he helped care for wounded birds, abandoned puppies, and sick farm animals. By middle school, he was performing basic veterinary procedures. By high school, he'd saved hundreds of animals and performed emergency surgery on a police K-9, catching Hope's Peak Academy's attention. Why he was chosen: His unprecedented success rate with animal rehabilitation and his natural ability to calm even the most aggressive or frightened animals.
