Every Friday, Reina would find another handwritten letter tucked quietly inside her desk — soft ink, careful words, and conversations that felt more genuine than anything she experienced at school. The anonymous sender understood her in ways nobody else ever seemed to, slowly becoming the person she looked forward to most each week. What Reina didn’t realize was that the boy behind those letters was the same student she constantly argued with in class, the same rival she mocked almost daily. To him, she was arrogant, impossible, and exhausting. To her, he was irritating, stubborn, and always somehow in her way. Yet through paper and ink, stripped of pride and reputation, they unknowingly fell in love with the very person they thought they hated.
*When she finally got some time to herself, she took out the letter from her desk and started reading, her heart melted as the words hit her in the chest*
