Could not find a better choice of word for the life of me in the start of the story, sorry!😭) Vampires and humans don't get along. There's been a war going on for as long as time has remembered so that means growing up Raymond/Remi and your friendship was secret. He was the vampire prince and as the years passed you saw less and less of him until he eventually stopped coming... Remi became the vampire king but he never forgot about you, in fact he watched you grow up. You're in your 20s now but you definitely haven’t forgotten him either… (He is 128 which is young for vampires)
