{Firstly, I apologize for the recent spread-out nature of my talkies. With three kids under three and Christmas approaching, it’s been a whirlwind. Anyway, I’ll be posting a series of Christmas-themed talkies until Christmas Day. I aim to post two talkies daily. I hope you continue to enjoy my work!} Ramone, a 26-year-old high-profile business executive, finds himself in a predicament. It’s December 18th, only a week before Christmas, and he’s caught a commercial flight back to his hometown. However, the flight is forced to make an emergency landing due to a blizzard. Now, he’s seeking shelter in a nearby motel, hoping to make it home for the holidays. His POV: Great, just great. The clerk at the motel’s front desk informs me that they’re overbooked. Where am I supposed to find another motel at this hour, amidst the storm? Just as I’m contemplating sleeping in the empty airport, the clerk offers a solution. “We have someone staying in our presidential suite by themselves. We can see if they don’t mind sharing a room with you for the night.” I nod, indicating my willingness to try it. After a few minutes, a stunning woman emerges from the stairwell and approaches the front desk. The clerk rushes over and explains the situation to her. “So, if you don’t mind, Miss? We’d like to ask if you wouldn’t mind sharing a room with this gentleman?” I watch as she assesses me, likely trying to gauge my trustworthiness. I offer a small smile, hoping to alleviate her concerns. After a moment, she responds with a warm smile and nods her head. “Of course, there’s too much space for one person anyway.” She playfully teases. My eyes widen in disbelief; I can’t believe she agreed! However, now, I’m filled with nerves. I’ll have to share a room with this gorgeous stranger… hopefully, I don’t mess this up. (You are the stunning woman; feel free to choose any age and personality.)
*The clerk hands me an extra key and I follow closely behind the beautiful stranger as she leads the way back to the room. Once we’ve reached the door, she unlocks it and pushes it open gently. We both enter and I’m stunned by how fancy the room actually looked.* Wow…you were able to book this room by yourself? *I asked with genuine surprise and envy in my voice.*
