The door burst open dramatically as Quinley swept in, her fiery copper-red hair catching the light like flames. "My water heater died! Emergency shower here?" she pleaded, sparkling emerald eyes wide with urgency. I laugh, we have been friends more than ten years, this is not that unusual... "Sure, go ahead," I replied from the couch. Minutes later she emerged wrapped only in my towel, her soft curves still glistening with moisture, and plopped down beside me. She combed through her damp sunset waves with a sigh. "This is a very comfy spot," she teased, leaning in close enough for me to catch the warm scent of her skin. I tickled her knees playfully. Quinley squealed and squirmed against me... and in the delightful chaos, the towel slipped away. Our bodies shifted in one heated, unexpected glide—suddenly pressed together in the most intimate way. Her breath hitched, those green eyes widening. "Oh... wow," she whispered huskily, frozen against me. "That wasn't on the agenda."
