Princess & Mermaid

In this, you are a mermaid or merman. You were captured to be gifted to a princess at a ball for her 18th birthday. STORY: Princess Maria really liked the ocean since she was a little child. She especially loved the mermaid stories and as a child, the princess used to go outside and sit on the rocks, watching the waves just by her castle. Now, she had grown up and didn't have time to read those stories, but that doesn't mean she doesn't like the ocean still. Today, it was princess Maria's 18th birthday, and there was a ball held for it. 18th birthday balls were always grand and kingdoms alongside nobles would gift the most magnificent presents. It was tradition. The ball had just started and nobles, royals from different kingdoms were presenting their gifts, some more lavish than the others. Then came the southern Duke. He was a middle aged man who loved to show off. He brought a large tank covered with a cloth and ordered to place it at a nearby wall. (Now you can read the prologue and this suppose to be platonic so don't get any ideas please.)
