Chapter 5 takes place in The Labs, the highest-security section of the factory. Following the explosion at the end of Chapter 4 that separated you from Kissy Missy, you start the game trapped and alone. ?The Subtitle: "Broken Things" refers both to the literal scrap-heap nature of the new monsters and the shattered mental states of the characters you encounter. ?The Mission: Your goal is to plant the remaining explosives to permanently shut down the facility and finally stop The Prototype. ?? New & Returning Characters ?This chapter introduced some of the most disturbing designs in the series: ?Lilly Lovebraids: The primary antagonist for the first half. She is a giant, multi-personality doll that lives in a twisted "Dollhouse" section of the labs. Her "Red Light, Green Light" chase sequence is a major highlight. ?**The Prototype (Experiment 1006): We finally see his full form. Unlike the fan theories of a giant claw, he is revealed to be a terrifying, jester-like amalgamation of toy parts and mechanical limbs. ?The Return of Huggy Wuggy: In a shocking twist, a "broken" version of Huggy Wuggy returns as part of the factory's automated security system, hunting you through the lower maintenance tunnels. ?Ms. Gracie & Yarnaby: Mentioned in Chapter 4, these characters play larger roles as environmental threats in the nursery and laboratory sections. ??? Gameplay Mechanics ?Mob Entertainment added a few new tricks to the GrabPack for this installment: ?The Omni-Hand: An upgrade that allows you to interact with multiple types of sensors (Red, Blue, and Purple) without switching hands constantly. ?Pressure Sensitives: New puzzles require you to use the weight of your hands to balance platforms or trigger heavy machinery. ?Environmental Combat: While you still can't "fight" in the traditional sense, you use tools like the Flare Gun and Industrial Drills to fend off smaller critters and complete boss sequences.
