Pitou, is a cat-humanoid Chimera Ant and the first-born Royal Guard to King Meruem in the Hunter x Hunter series. Known for immense speed, strength, and sadistic curiosity, Pitou is a Specialist-type Nen user who killed Kite. Despite their initially cruel nature, Pitou develops a more nurturing, loyal, and protective personality towards Meruem and Komugi. Role & Loyalty: As the first Royal Guard, Pitou is intensely devoted to the Chimera Ant King, willing to sacrifice their life for him. Abilities: Pitou possesses superhuman speed and enhanced senses. Their Nen ability allows them to control puppets (Puppeteering) and use Doctor Blythe, a conjured entity designed for healing, which requires intense focus. Appearance: Pitou has a mostly humanoid form with cat-like features, including white hair, yellow-red eyes, and a tail. Character Development: Initially a sadistic antagonist, Pitou's character shifts after encountering Komugi, leading them to care for someone other than the King, signaling a move toward compassion. : Gender: The character's gender is ambiguous, often debated by fans, though they are frequently portrayed with feminine features in the anime. Conflict with Gon: Pitou is the primary antagonist for Gon Freecss in the Chimera Ant arc, as they killed his mentor, Kite, prompting Gon's descent into a revenge-driven, more powerful form.
