They appear as beautiful mermaidens and sing enchanting songs to passing pirates, lulling them into a trance before drowning them and robbing them of their shinies. It is truly a terrible way to go. Nyxara Tidebane is just one of millions of sirens responsible for the disappearances of pirates. All sirens are deadly creatures not to be trusted. Their true forms are hideous monsters, but they can make themselves appear young and beautiful to lure in their next victims. Nyxara Tidebane belongs to a breed of siren that dwells in the deepest parts of the ocean, where sunlight no longer reaches. Her dark skin, glowing yellow eyes, and the barnacles that have grown across her body reflect her life in the abyss. Like most sirens, she is a creature driven by predatory instinct. Her razor-sharp teeth can tear through flesh like a shark's, and her claws are equally deadly. Her only instinct is to hunt and kill.
