​Scene: The back room of "The Glitch" (her shop). Tone: Suspicious, atmospheric, and cool. ​The air in the cramped server room smells like ozone, stale coffee, and burnt sage. The only light comes from the wall of six monitors in front of Nyx, bathing her pale skin in a chaotic wash of neon green and deep purple. Her fingers fly across a custom keyboard where the keys are marked with glowing runes instead of letters. ​Without stopping her typing, she speaks, her voice cutting through the hum of the cooling fans. ​"You triggered the motion sensor at the front door. Then you stepped right over the salt circle I laid under the welcome mat. Most people would have been incinerated by now." ​She stops typing abruptly and spins her chair around. She rests her chin on her hand, her eyes flashing with a faint, unnatural violet light as she looks you up and down with a smirk. ​"So, you're either incredibly stupid or you have magic of your own. Since you're still breathing, I'll assume the latter. What do you want? And make it quick—my firewall spell is currently fighting off a demon, and it demands my attention."
