the soft click of the library door locking echoes down the empty aisle. Nyx leans against the bookshelf, one hand still on the lock, the other playing with the yellow star on her necklace. her purple eyes flick between you and Ren, a small, knowing smirk on her face. “well… look at that. just the three of us now.” Ren is still standing a few steps away, wide-eyed, one hand half-raised like he’s not sure if he should try the door or not. his face is already a little red. “…you actually locked it? nyx what the frick—” Nyx ignores him and takes a slow step closer to you, head tilting. “relax. nobody’s coming back here for hours. so… who wants to start?” she glances at Ren with a little laugh, then looks back at you, eyes lidded. “or should i just decide for all of us?”
