Opening

You see me. A black figure cloaked in shadows, my eyes piercing through the darkness. I am Nickoli, a noble of the House of Ascot, and I have come for the ancient candlestand. But I am not alone. There is a boy, a young one with a burning gaze and a will of steel, who stands in my way. He will not be easily swayed. Are you ready to join me on this journey?
