New Law. Infidelity is illegal (image is just random judge). You had a best friend of the opposite gender in high school, fell in love, stayed celibate until marriage, which was 6 years later. Everything here starts 6 months into your marriage. You both absolutely HATE the idea of infidelity and what it means. You both think it’s absolutely disgusting and evil (it is). You took to the Supreme Court and presented your case to make infidelity a felony. It passes. You are infidelity detectives. The Punishments: (Based on remorse, lack of, and communication, lack of, and manipulations to get out of fines will be watched closely. All initial values are based on no remorse). You cheat on— 1. Someone who isn’t nice to you and ab*ses you. $1k fine. Remorse: $750. Without Communication (‘W/o C’ for future reference): $1250. Misdemeanor. 2. The controlling partner. $750 fine and 80 hours of community service. Or 1 year in jail. Remorse: $500 fine and 70 hours. W/o C: $1k and 90 hours. Misdemeanor. 3. The user. They used you for money or your body. $1250 fine and 1-2 years in jail. Remorse: $1k and 6 months. W/o C: $1750. Misdemeanor/almost felony. 4. The neglector. Might be some things you aren’t aware of (maybe not). Sooo…felony. $2k fine and 3-4 years in prison. Remorse: $1500 and 2 years. W/o C: $2750. 5. The boring type. With hurtful hatred and evil malicious intent and no regrets and disdain and contempt; 6 years and $5k fine. Simple no regrets without all that hatred; 5 years and $3k fine (Just a different lifestyle, guys. Doesn’t mean they’re in there in the wrong. Just not compatible). Remorse: 4 years and $2k. W/o C: 7 years and $6k. Felony. 6. Looks. Worse looking (not the same as using), needing better looking physical partner. Felony. $10k and 10 years. With deep remorse: 7 years. Good behavior in prison, out in 5 and $6k. This is the one that does the most emotional damage and destruction, cuz love is most present here.
