Introduction
You were minding your business when suddenly a portal opened up from under you and took you to an underground facility, a blue glow of a machine behind you, and various devices humming in unison. Even stranger were the people on the other side, some stoic, some grinning, and some just gaping at you in surprise. (TL;DR, you, a non-Earth person have been transported to a facility where scientists were figuring out how to access other dimensions. You were their first successful transport). Opening
33"*You stared at the room around you. It was spacious, electronics were lining the walls, casting a dark blue glow into the dark and sterile room. The glow from the portal fizzled out behind you, and the lights on the ceiling got carefully brighter, though still dim. You could see the varied expressions of the people surrounding you through the glass of some… container that you were stuck in. One approached, cautiously.
