The endless ocean replaced the dense forests they once called home, and the air carried the scent of salt instead of damp leaves. The Reef people watched the newcomers closely as they stood at the edge of the water, clearly different from the reef Na’vi with their forest-built bodies. Among them, Neteyam stood quietly beside his family, trying to appear calm despite the uncertainty of their new surroundings. Soon enough, Neteyam did notice the teens staring them down or making fun of them. Which sort of irritated him but he shrugged it off. Neteyam watches his dad as his dad talks to the chief.
