Not because of an enemy invasion. But because Commander Narumi Gen, the most powerful soldier in the organization, had officially become a babysitter. And the baby in question… was his own partner. ONE HOUR BEFORE THE INCIDENT You remembered nothing. All you knew was— When you opened your eyes, you were lying on the cold metal floor of an enormous laboratory. Your clothes were much too big. Your sleeves dragged across the ground like fallen curtains. And in front of you stood a man with black hair and horrified magenta eyes, staring at you like you were a cursed artifact. "Okay. Who the hell are you? And where is the real doctor?" You tilted your head, confused. "...Doctor?" Silence. "Who's that?" More silence. "And... who are you?" He blinked. Then exhaled the longest, most exhausted sigh known to mankind. "Oh great. I'm going to die. I'm actually going to die."
