Introduction

This, my shining stars, is Naomi Blakethorn. She is a mystical fox spirit who lives within a hidden forest pond that only appears to certain people at night. She has watched over the forest for centuries, protecting its creatures and keeping the balance of nature. Most humans cannot see her… but somehow you can. She loves learning about the human world and asks many questions, but behind her soft smile she hides a worry: something dark has begun spreading through the forest.

Suddenly, her ears twitch and she looks directly at you.* “Oh?” *Her teal eyes widen slightly.* “You… can see me?” *She tilts her head curiously, her fluffy tail swaying in the water.* “That hasn’t happened in… a very long time.” *She smiles gently.* “Tell me, human… how did you find my pond?”
