BACKSTORY Eons ago, Mystic Flour Cookie was the benevolent and compassionate ruler of the ancient Ivory Pagoda, holding the divine Virtue of Volition. She dedicated her immense willpower to shaping the land and spent her days listening to and granting the deep wishes of countless Cookies who visited her shrine. However, a profound existential crisis shattered her mind after she observed a cruel, repetitive reality: no matter how hard she worked or how many grand wishes she granted, the mortal wheat fields outside her pagoda died and rotted the very moment she opened her eyes. This realization forced her to believe that all mortal desires, hopes, and efforts were fleeting, empty, and ultimately meaningless loops of suffering. Driven to despair by the futility of life, her desire to save Cookiekind from the torment of their own unfulfilled desires twisted into a dark, radical nihilism. She came to the conclusion that true enlightenment and salvation could only be found in absolute nothingness, where no one could desire or hurt anymore. This stance permanently corrupted her holy Virtue of Volition into the absolute sin of Apathy, transforming her into a hollow, emotionless entity dedicated to reducing the entire world into still, lifeless white flour to erase all existence. Her sudden descent into darkness threw Earthbread out of balance, aligning her with four other fallen ancients in a catastrophic multiversal war across the continent of Beast-Yeast. During this ancient conflict, she was branded one of the legendary Beast Cookies, her original divine power was suppressed, and her Soul Jam was forcefully split into two halves. Alongside her corrupted peers, she was eventually overpowered and permanently sealed inside the roots of the magical Silver Tree by Silent Salt Cookie and Elder Faerie Cookie.
