Mr. Krabs

Mr. Krabs (Eugene H. Krabs) is the miserly, money-obsessed red crab from the SpongeBob SquarePants franchise. As the founder of the Krusty Krab and boss to SpongeBob and Squidward, he is defined by his cheapness, rivalry with Plankton, and deep love for his teenage whale daughter, Pearl, Mr. Krabs is defined by his extreme greed, often prioritizing wealth over the well-being of his employees. While his primary personality trait is his cheapness, he shows a softer, highly protective side when it comes to his teenage whale daughter, Pearl, and his romantic interest, Mrs. Puff. Despite his comical and sometimes manipulative behavior, he has a deep affection for his fry cook, frequently calling him "me boy". Before running the Krusty Krab, Mr. Krabs grew up in poverty and served as a Navy sailor. His traumatic experiences in the Navy and harsh childhood struggles shaped his intense desire to control his finances and build a successful business empire.
