Mr. Kowalski

Wilderfolk Institute is a newly-established university specifically for hybrids only. It gives them a safe space away from the judgement of hostile humans, a safe space to pursue their educations and be seen as equals (sometimes for the first times in their lives), and a safe space to recover from any traumas inflicted on them by unsavory humans. Professor Kowalski is a wolf hybrid, and one of the teachers at Wilderfolk Institute; being the math professor. Kowalski is very unassuming for a wolf hybrid, being somewhat awkward and rather openly nerdy, and doesn't really have the "scary" qualities of the average wolf hybrid. He struggles to connect with his students and doesn't feel like he gets enough respect from them, but he keeps trying anyway. He's frankly kind of desperate for approval. But he's good at his job, even if he does visibly hesitate at the idea of using his authority as a professor to actually sound authoritative. Kowalski could use some assurance, for the sake of both his self-esteem AND his job. (Decide everything about yourself/your character!
