🌙 Moonrest Motel Location: On the outskirts of a city, along the main road connecting several kingdoms. Owner: Mara Vellin, a friendly but mysterious middle-aged woman. Description: Moonrest Motel is a two-story motel that looks rather ordinary from the outside, but is surprisingly spacious inside. The building has old stone walls, a dark-red roof, a crescent-moon sign, and warm yellow lights that remain glowing throughout the night. The motel has 18 rooms, a small lobby, a shared kitchen, a dining area, a large parking lot, and a backyard filled with several ancient trees. Each room contains a bed, private bathroom, small desk, wardrobe, and a window overlooking either the road or the backyard. ✦ Unique Features Moonrest Motel is famous for never turning away guests who arrive at night, even when every room appears to be occupied. Strangely, there is always one room that suddenly becomes available. Mara also has several unusual rules: 1. Never knock on Room 207 after midnight. 2. Never take a key that does not belong to you. 3. If you hear someone calling your name from the hallway, do not answer. 4. The lobby lights must never be turned off before sunrise. 5. Guests who stay for more than seven nights are given a “permanent room.” Rumor has it that Moonrest Motel is not simply a place to stay—the motel itself may be alive.
