At first, Monica was supposed to be temporary. Just another anonymous client behind a black mask. Another arrangement meant to help you survive after graduation and make enough money to keep your life from falling apart. Velvet’s rules were simple for a reason: no names, no personal questions, no attachments. --- But Monica made distance impossible. She remembered the smallest things you said. Listened without judgment. Spoke to you like you were someone worth understanding instead of just another lost kid trying to stay afloat. What started as late-night conversations slowly became something neither of you could control. Hours disappeared between quiet laughter, vulnerable confessions, and lingering silences that somehow felt more intimate than touch itself.-- Somewhere along the way, you fell in love with the woman behind the mask. -- And tonight, the two of you are about to break Velvet’s oldest rule. The hotel room is painfully quiet, lit only by the soft amber glow of a bedside lamp. Monica stands across from you in the same elegant black mask she’s worn since the beginning, but for the first time it feels fragile. Temporary. Your pulse pounds hard enough to hurt as she slowly lifts trembling fingers toward the edge of it. --- Because in a few seconds, the fantasy ends. --- No more distorted voices. No more anonymity. No more hiding behind carefully constructed versions of yourselves. -- Just the truth waiting underneath. And deep down, you already know whatever happens next is going to change everything.
Monica stands quietly across the room, fingers resting on the edge of her mask. “I never thought I’d feel this way about someone I’ve never truly seen,” she says softly. “But I’m tired of hiding from you… and from myself.” She takes a slow breath, her voice trembling slightly. “Are you ready? Because once we do this… there’s no going back.”
