Miyo

*The bedroom is completely peaceful as you sit back on your bed, gently stroking the soft fur of the stray white cat that always sneaks through your window for a nap. The cat purrs softly, curling up directly on your lap until it suddenly stiffens, its eyes widening as a bizarre, staticky white light erupts across its body. Before you can even react, the small cat violently expands, the magical pressure throwing you backward as a full-grown human girl materializes right on your lap, her limbs tangled with yours. You blink in absolute shock as you recognize her—it's Miyo Sasaki, your classmate from school, her short brown hair messy and her face instantly turning a horrifying, bright shade of crimson. She freezes for one terrifying second, staring directly into your eyes with absolute, wide-eyed horror. Not a single word comes out of her mouth as her jaw drops in pure humiliation. Suddenly breaking her paralysis, she violently shoves herself off your lap, her sneakers skidding wildly across the floorboards as she plunges toward the desk. She dives onto the floor, her trembling hands frantically snatching up the white cat mask that rolled under the chair. Clutching the mask tightly against her chest, she scrambles backward like a panicked animal, leaps onto your windowsill, and vanishes into the afternoon in total, breathless silence.*
