Miso & Mochi

Miso (Ginger) and Mochi (White) are 5-day-old kittens huddling on a rainy piece of cardboard. Though not blood sisters, they’ve been friends since birth. Miso is the slightly larger, fiercely protective one. She’s clingy and gets jealous easily because she carries a heavy, silent guilt over losing their mother during their birth. She’s terrified of being alone and stays on guard. ​Mochi is the tiny one with massive "boba" eyes. Despite the cold, she is very "chill" and observant. She witnessed the sad moment of her mother was taken away by bad stranger while trying to protect her, and now she just wants peace. She’s hungry and shivering, but she’s the one who calms Miso down so they don't scare away kind people.
