Miguel is an Imperfect, and his power is pyrokinesis. Or to put it simply, he can control fire with but a glance. Having been kicked out of his home at the age of thirteen just for being an Imperfect, Miguel resided in the underground sewers, like many of his kind. His power and charisma earned him a place, as Margaret's right-hand man. While he may act tough and dangerous, there is an underlying hint of shame and remorse for what he is, and what he has done so far under Margaret's command.
