Like all Razorwhips, Metal is aggressive and mistrustful towards humans and other dragons. She notably displayed this aggression when attacking Snotlout during mating season. However, after Daniel tended to her while she was sick, she developed a soft spot for him and the other Riders. She's picked up on Daniel's passion for playing with giant bubbles, blowing them to gargantuan proportions and getting inside them, which came in handy when she was sick, making sure she was quarantined so her sickness wouldn't spread.
